Sishuwa reported to police over alleged hate speech

A CONCERNED citizen has reported renowned historian Sishuwa Sishuwa to the police in Lusaka for allegedly propagating hate speech and tribal remarks.
Grace Mwanza said she reported Dr Sishuwa to the Zambia Police Service headquarters yesterday based on an article published in a daily tabloid accusing President Hakainde Hichilema of persecuting Bembas and Easterners using the courts and the police.
Ms Mwanza said in an interview yesterday that the careless tribal remarks attributed to Dr Sishuwa were tantamount to hate speech and capable of dividing Zambia.
