NITROGEN Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) has recorded a total production of 18,563 tonnes of D compound fertilizer in 2024.
The chemical company is this year targeting to increase production following the purchase of a new plant valued at $6.8 million.
NCZ chief executive officer Chanda Mongo said a total of 11, 171.25 tonnes of fertilizer was distributed under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) for the 2024/2025 farming season.
