GOVERNMENT say it is appalled by the ripping of seats at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium during ugly scenes in the aftermath of the hyped MTN Super League Week 32 Kitwe derby played in Ndola.
And MTN Super Division side Nkana says it will replace all the seats its fans damaged at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium following the 1-all draw against Power Dynamos.
Speaking after he toured the stadium on Sunday evening after witnessing the ugly scenes earlier, Sports Minister Elvis Nkandu said the actions of the fans put a risk on Zambia’s prospects at future international games.
