MORE than 1000 female police officers are part of the compliment of 1,528 cadets who passed-out at the Kamfinsa Mobile Unit of Public Order yesterday.
The pass-out parade was historic as it was the first time ever that the Zambia Police had recruited and commissioned such a big number of female officers.
President Hakainde Hichilema said that he was elated to see a good number female officers commissioned as officers adding that it was a historic moment.
