PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says Zambia is expanding its environment to enable local manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
President Hichilema said the environment included good political will, various incentives, good regulatory capacities, and assured local and sub-regional markets.
The President said this in a speech read for him by Health Minister Elijah Muchima during the inauguration and commissioning of the ultra-modern Penicillin manufacturing plant at Yash Life Sciences in Kafue yesterday.
