ZAMBIA Aquaculture Cooperative Society Limited (ZACOSO) anticipates a reduction in the price of feed due to sufficient maize in the country.
ZACOSO general secretary Freznarnd Simfukwe, however, said the reduction in prices would be minimal because soya beans production in the 2024/2025 farming season had not recorded much increase.
Mr Simfukwe said in an interview that the price of feed would therefore reduce by a smaller per cent compared to last year where prices constantly increased due to insufficient maize and soya beans as a result of the drought.
