Zambia’s FDI increases to $580m in 1st quarter

ZAMBIA’s Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflows increased to US$580.5 million in the first half of 2024 as compared to the US$250.1 million recorded in 2023 during the similar period.
The outturn represents a US$330.4 million year-on-year increase.
This is according to the 2024 Private Sector Foreign Investment and Investor Perception Survey Report disseminated by the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) in collaboration with the Zambia Statistics Agency and Zambia Development Agency in Lusaka yesterday.
