A PANEL of Economic and Financial Crimes Court – High Court Division judges has ordered that former Ministry of Defence permanent secretary Sturdy Mwale’s farm should be forfeited to the State because it was acquired using suspected proceeds of crime.
Judge Susan Wanjelani sitting with judges Ian Mabbolobbolo and Vincent Siloka said the ACC had on the balance of probabilities established that Simonga Farm No. 132a was tainted property liable for forfeiture as envisaged under the Forfeiture of Proceeds of Crime Act.
