PATRIOTIC Front (PF) Mambilima Member of Parliament (MP) Jean Chisenga has been slapped with a seven-day suspension from the National Assembly for gross misconduct.
Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti said in reading out Ms Chisenga’s suspension yesterday that she hoped the parliamentarian would use the period of suspension to reflect on her behaviour.
“Ms Jean Chisenga MP, in accordance with the decision of this House, you have been suspended from the service of the assembly for a period of seven sitting days; effective from today (yesterday) November 14, 2024 to November 26, 2024.
