By JAMES KUNDA –
SECRETARY to the Cabinet Patrick Kangwa has reiterated his call for officers in Ministries, Provinces and Agencies (MPAs) to maintain high levels of financial integrity and prudence to better deliver public services.
Mr Kangwa cautioned that any officer found erring should not be spared and urged controlling officers to mete out disciplinary action, including dismissals in line with the public service disciplinary code.
He said this when he officially opened an induction and delivery of basic accounting knowledge for non-accounting officers handling public resources in public service by the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) in Lusaka yesterday.
