GOVERNMENT is currently working on making pensions more inclusive through pension scheme expansion.
Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba said in order to make financial inclusion security a reality and secure the financial future of citizens, her ministry would work to increase coverage and accessibility of pension schemes for all Zambians.
Ms Tambatamba said the Government continued to make strides towards broad-based social security reforms with a view to establish a more comprehensive, responsive and sustainable pension system in Zambia to ensure decent livelihoods for the working age population, the retirees and senior citizens.
