THE State has urged the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court to find former Foreign Affairs minister Joseph Malanji and former Secretary to Treasury Fredson Yamba with a case-to-answer in a case they are charged with willful failure to comply with procedure and being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
The duo had earlier appealed to the court to be acquitted of the charges, but the State submitted that there was sufficient evidence to put them on their defence.
