PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says the nation is poised for a bumper harvest and has since thanked the Church and the clergy for their prayers and intercession.
Mr Hichilema said yesterday at a National Thanksgiving Service at the Cathedral of the Holycross in Lusaka.
The expected bumper harvest was because of the good rains experienced projected in the 2024/2025 rainy season.
The Head of State thanked the Church for working with the Government as the country sailed through the worst drought in living memory which caused a poor 2023/2024 harvest.
