UPND scoops Fibalala Ward poll

UNITED Party for National Development (UPND) candidate Samuel Mwansa has scooped the Fibalala Ward seat in Milenge District after polling 366 votes against his closest rival Juliet Mwandwa from the Citizen First (CF) who got 259 votes.
Socialist Party (SP)’sThomas Mulenga was third with 188 votes as Leadership Movement (LM)’s Morgan Mutuka was at the tail-end after garnering only 26 votes.
Total votes cast were were 852 against 1,534 total registered voters.
Fibalala Ward seat fell vacant after the incumbent Misheck Chisala past in April this year.
