By JAMES KUNDA –
PARLIAMENT has deferred the presentation of the Cyber Security Bill and the Cyber Crimes Bill for Second Reading to allow for further consultation.
This was after Science and Technology Minister Felix Mutati requested during deliberations yesterday that the bill be deferred to allow for more consultation.
Mr Mutati’s request was seconded by Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu.
Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti said the deferment of the bills meant that the judicial of the two bills which opposition members had sought to take, fell off.
