A MAN, who was suspected of practising witchcraft in Kasempa, died after he was allegedly buried alive under a coffin with the body of his grandchild who he was accused of having killed.
The police said they were investigating the incident in which the 62-year-old man was buried alive with the coffin of a deceased following a suspected practice of “Kikondo” (moving coffin).
The man was allegedly buried alive by placing the coffin of the grandson on him and covering the grave with soil.
