FORMER First Lady Esther Lungu has been arrested for money laundering and possessing property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
DEC Public Relations Officer Allan Tamba said at a Press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that Ms Lungu was arrested in connection with the double storey housing complex in the Ibex Hill area of Lusaka.
He said the arrest was part of the ongoing investigations and also involved several other properties.
“This is part of ongoing investigations involving properties she was earlier questioned about,” Mr Tamba said.
