SECRETARY to the Cabinet, Patrick Kangwa, has directed civil servants with political ambitions to immediately resign ahead of the 2026 general elections.
Speaking at the first senior public service management meeting for the year 2025 in Lusaka yesterday, Mr Kangwa said it was unacceptable for civil servants to be using public funds to carry out their political campaigns.
“It is not wrong to have political intentions but it is very wrong to use public resources,” Mr Kangwa said.
