Bowman goes in for 2 years

FORMER Kabushi member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo has been sentenced to two years imprisonment with hard labour for unlawfully wounding a National Democratic Congress (NDC) member in 2019 during a by-election in Luanshya.
Magistrate Penstone Chiluba convicted Lusambo of unlawful wounding last Thursday when the ruling was passed in his absence and a bench warrant issued for his arrest.
He was subsequently arrested in Lusaka and brought before the court in Luanshya on Tuesday.
