THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has intercepted an interlink truck in Magoye of Monze District in Southern Province, seizing 40,000 litres of smuggled alcohol ethanol thereby preventing a potential revenue of K1.6 million.
ZRA Corporate Communications Manager Oliver Nzala confirmed the seizure in a statement, revealing that the truck, registered under KB81BBGP/HMO9RKGP/HM09SXGP, was carrying 160 drums, each containing 250 litres of ethanol.
