THE Tanzania- Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) says a Concession Agreement with Chinese investors in the provision of railway services will be finalised early next year.
In the end of year reflections and aspirations for the future, TAZARA managing director Sadiki Minja said under the year review, key stakeholders signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the revitalization process.
Mr Minja said this included negotiations for a Concession Agreement with a consortium of Chinese investors, led by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) which constructed TAZARA between 1970 and 1975, and progressed to an advanced stage.
