PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has visited the United Party of National Development (UPND) party headquarters in Lusaka.
Mr Hichilema, who is also UPND party president, yesterday met scores of party functionaries in a closed door meeting which lasted about four hours.
The President was received to a thunderous welcome of dance, singing and merrymaking by members in clad party regalia,as the party slogan-chanting legions of supporters seemed not to get enough of him.
Mr Hichilema went into the closed-door meeting where the media were not invited in and were kept at bay as the private proceedings which took hours progressed.
