KoBold Metals, AFC ink deal

KOBOLD Metals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) committing to anchor the commercial viability of the Zambia-Lobito rail project with more than 300,000 tonnes of copper per year from its Mingomba Mine.
KoBold Metals president Josh Goldman said the United States (US) government was eager to accelerate the development of the Lobito corridor to ensure the development of more critical minerals needed for a carbon-free future.
