THE Judicial Complaints Commission (JCC) has urged the court to dismiss a petition in which three judges are challenging President Hakainde Hichilema’s decision to remove them from office as Constitutional Court (ConCourt) judges.
JCC has submitted that Judges Anna Sitali, Mungeni Mulenga and Palan Mulonda were removed from office for illegally setting aside a full decision of the ConCourt made on September 2, 2016 without the authority of the president of the ConCourt as provided for by the law.
