FORMER Zambian Ambassador to Italy Frank Mutubila has backed President Hakainde Hichilema’s call for professionalism among diplomats serving the country in foreign missions.
Mr Mutubila said President Hichilema’s reflections on diplomatic conduct served as a reminder of the profound responsibility entrusted to those representing Zambia abroad.
In a statement at the weekend, Mr Mutubila said diplomatic service was an esteemed calling, an opportunity to personify the values, vision and the nation’s aspirations.
