PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has commissioned the 640 kilowatts Kasanjiku mini-hydro power plant executed at the cost of more than US$9.5 million under the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) in the Ntambu Chiefdom of Mwinilunga District of North-Western Province.
The Government through REA developed the plant along the Kasanjiku River that is expected to benefit more than 20, 000 people.
