SPORTS Minister Elvis Nkandu says the government will support the development of all sports disciplines by creating a conducive environment.
Speaking during the official opening of the 13th edition of the Japanese Ambassador’s Karate tournament held at the National Sports Development Centre (NASDEC) in Lusaka, Nkandu, in a speech read on his behalf by his Permanent Secretary Chama Fuba, said the Government would endeavour to support the development of all sporting disciplines.
This year’s Japanese Ambassadors Karate tournament included participants from Zimbabwe and Namibia. Zambian athletes have been drawn from six provinces namely Southern, Copperbelt, Eastern, Lusaka, Central, and Northern.
