Govt, OCP Africa Group clinch fertiliser deal

THE Government and OCP Africa Group have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to undertake a national soil mapping programme and promoting customised fertiliser utilisation across the country.
Another deal between OCP Africa Group and the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) subsidiary Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) has been signed.
The two partnerships are anticipated to create a total of 1,000 direct jobs for Zambians, enhance access to the right fertiliser for farmers and significantly accelerate agricultural transformation as well as industrialisation.
