THE Cyber Security and Cybercrimes Act will be applied to deal with perpetrators of disorder in the country and threats against President Hakainde Hichilema, acting Home Affairs and Internal Security Minister Douglas Syakalima has warned.
Mr Syakalima said the culture of violence and use of machetes to send signals of violence to others would not be condoned under the New Dawn Government.He said at a Press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that the abuse of cyberspace was not acceptable in the country because there were laws and no one was above the law.
